What have you done now?
Renegade United States Senator Nick Turner has left his political party, declaring as an independent candidate for President. As we saw in What Can One Man Do?, Nick is trying to do what he feels is right. But…
Running for President in the United States is the most expensive, complicated, and coveted prize in the world. This is not something you decide to do on a whim. Or is it? We follow our idealistic Senator as he strives to compete for the prize of prizes – the opportunity to be the leader of the free world.
Recruiting others to join his quest, he quickly understands this is something other politicians plan for their entire life. Not sure who is friend and who is foe, he runs a grass-roots campaign. He has little choice since he does not have the organization and funding to do otherwise. With no political party to back his candidacy, no primaries to showcase his views, and uninterested media outlets, Nick struggles to find relevance.
With unconventional methods, he grows his support, one voter at a time. Can he achieve the level of support he needs to continue his campaign? Do his ideas resonate? Will it be enough to get the silent majority to wake up and think for themselves? Can he convince people their future depends on their choice: obey the dictates from the state, or stand up, make their own choices and stay free?
